歌英語 |
if from time to time / anyone should ask after / me answer them this / on Suma Bay with tear-drenched / sleeves I gather seaweed salt / |
解釈 |
For Tamura, see 885; for Tsu, see 604; for Suma, 708. "Shiotaru" means "to weep" and is an engo for Suma, a place famous for salt-making. Saltwater was poured over the seaweed gathered there and boiled dry to collect the salt. |
